COOKIE POLICY

This policy describes cookies and similar storage on the public KITABOO website. Last updated: 6 September 2026.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage is another way to remember information on your device. Our necessary preference storage remembers your privacy choices.

How do we use cookies?

Optional categories are off until you choose them. External media consent allows embedded providers, such as YouTube or Vimeo, to receive your IP address and use storage under their own policies. Legacy embedded content is held until all optional categories are enabled. No analytics script is currently enabled in this website build. Marketing consent permits an existing HubSpot tracking cookie to accompany a form you submit; it is separate from email marketing consent. You can browse and request a demo after rejecting optional cookies.

We use the following cookies:

StoragePurpose and retention
kitaboo_consent (cookie)Necessary: remembers category choices, policy version and choice date for 180 days. It is not used for advertising.
kitaboo_consent (local storage)Necessary: a change timestamp synchronizes choices between open tabs. No visitor identifier is stored. It remains until overwritten or browser storage is cleared and does not extend the cookie expiry.

The table lists storage set by our consent controls. External media providers may set additional cookies after consent; their names and retention depend on the provider. Our controls do not enable Google Analytics or advertising scripts merely because you accept. Where your browser sends Global Privacy Control, marketing remains disabled.

How to control cookies

On your first visit, choose Accept all, Reject optional or individual preferences. Use the Cookie settings button on any public page to change or withdraw your choice. Closing the popup does not grant consent. We ask again after 180 days, after the consent version changes, or if you clear your preference cookie.

Withdrawal unloads embedded content and removes known optional first-party cookies accessible to this website. We cannot delete cookies on another provider's domain or cookies inaccessible to JavaScript; use your browser controls to remove those. If browser storage is blocked, your choice may not survive a reload. Necessary preference storage cannot be switched off in the popup, but you can clear it in your browser.
