07How does the platform handle analytics about user activity (e.g., average reading time, content usage, device usage)?
The platform provides deep analytics via the KITABOO Studio. You can track the user's average reading time, the most read topic, and how many resources (audio/video) they are using. It also provides analytics on which devices users are viewing content on (desktop, tablet, mobile application, Android vs. iOS). You can view the 10 most popular titles and low-read books.
08How does the platform ensure content security and include DRM protection?
The platform comes with DRM protection to keep your content secure and intact. Content is encrypted with 128-bit encryption.
09Can unauthorized practices like copy/paste or printing be restricted/disabled?

Users get online and offline access. They can download the books from the mobile app, but the storage happens on the platform server itself, not on the device storage, similar to how Netflix operates.

18How exactly do we upload the books (e.g., PDFs) to the platform?
The process is simple: via the KITABOO Studio, you click "start new project," select "create," and then upload your PDF, PPT, or Word files. The Studio handles the conversion into eBooks, including the table of content creation.
19Is it possible for authors to publish their books themselves (multi-vendor website setup)?
KITABOO can be integrated into a multi-vendor website. You can create specific "producer" access for authors through the KITABOO Studio, allowing them to log in and create/upload eBooks . This setup allows the administrator to track who is doing what (unlike open publishing models like KDP).
20How does KITABOO integrate with our existing e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento 2)?
You must still use your external e-commerce platform (like Shopify or Magento 2) to handle payments. KITABOO is integrated with the e-commerce platform (via APIs and web hooks). When a purchase is made, the payment goes directly to the client, and an API call directs the user to receive an introduction/welcome email with login credentials or an access code for the white-labeled reader.
21Is it possible to assign different rights and sections of content to specific user groups or accounts?
Yes, you can create different customer accounts (similar to a district and school setup) to manage customers/organizations separately, ensuring content is not mixed up. Different rights (content access) can be assigned to different groups of users (e.g., sophomores vs. seniors) within the same account.
22Can access codes or licenses be assigned to collections of books, and are they unique per user?
Licenses can be issued to collections of books or individual books. You can generate either unique access codes (per user, traceable to their ID/email) or a common access code (shared among licensed users until the limit is reached).
23Can access to eBooks be set with an expiration date (rental) or perpetual access?
Access to eBooks can be set with an expiration date (e.g., one month, quarterly, annually) or be perpetual.
24What is the definition of an 'activated user,' and are customers charged for inactive users?
An 'activated user' is counted the moment they access the book (not when the book is assigned). Regarding charging for users who access a book one month but are inactive for the next six months, the sales representative stated they would need to cross-check with the team, but usually, additional activated users would not be charged if they are not using the product.
25Is integration with an LMS possible?
